Position
Teacher of English – Full-Time / Part-Time (Open to options).
Salary: M1 - UPS3: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum.
About the role
All students take English Literature and English Language at GCSE and many go on to study at A‑Level. This is an opportunity to join a high‑performing English Team. You will teach English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE, with possible opportunities to teach A‑Level. Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 is advantageous. We welcome both experienced colleagues and Newly Qualified Teachers. As a lead partner in the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership, we support teachers early in their career.
Responsibilities
* Teach English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
* Potentially teach A‑Level English Literature or English Language & Literature.
* Assist in teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 (advantageous).
Qualifications & Experience
* Trainee teachers: Newly Qualified Teachers accepted.
* Experienced teachers with relevant background.
* Knowledge of curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Eligible to work in the UK and willing to undertake a full enhanced DBS check.
