Position: Casual Swim Teacher Level 2
Shift: Early evening hours between Monday to Friday 15:00 - 18:45, and Saturday 8:00 - 11:45 (actual shifts to be confirmed)
The role involves working evenings, weekends, and part-time hours, and requires an Enhanced DBS Check.
Volair is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, engaging, and inspiring individual to join our successful swimming team at Huyton Leisure Centre, delivering our Swim Programme.
As a Swim Teacher, you will be passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities learn to swim, playing a vital role in water safety education and fostering a love for swimming.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to individual needs and skill levels.
* Instruct proper swimming techniques, water safety procedures, and pool etiquette.
* Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to build confidence and help students achieve goals.
* Ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
* Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
* Inspire and motivate swimmers of all ages and abilities.
* Act as a positive role model with a fun and engaging approach.
* Support the varied programme of activities and sessions.
* Be a part of a motivated team that embraces our company values and standards.
Qualifications
* Strong swimming ability and understanding of proper techniques.
* Minimum of [Required Swim Instruction Certification] (e.g., ASA Level 2, STA Level 2).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
* A fun, energetic personality with a passion for swimming.
