Your new role
The job of the Finance Director is a varied one, it involves, but will not be limited to:
1. Ensuring the UK finance team prepare accurate and timely reporting of the UK entities to meet thepany's monthly deadlines.
2. Ensuring all local UK reporting, including annual financial statements and tax reporting, arepleted within the UK deadlines.
3. Reviewing and analysing the performance of the UK businesses and providing this detailed analysis to the European Finance Director on a timely basis, including during quarterly presentations.
4. Work with legal as needed onpliance and contractual negotiations.
5. Prepare operational efficiency and cost-saving proposals.
6. Work closely with themercial teams to:Prepare regular business forecasts to meet deadlines.Assist them withmercial deals and strategy as required to maximise business growth.
7. Work with the finance teams share best practices and improve processes.
8. Production of ad-hoc reports / analysis as requested.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Qualified accountant.
10. Ideally available on short notice
11. At least 5 years of experience of leading finance teams in medium to large organisations.
12. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
13. Strongmunication skills
14. Good Excel knowledge ( lookups, pivot tables)
15. Ability to work flexibly to meet tight month and year-end deadlines
16. Knowledge of IFRS would be advantageous.
