We are seeking a resilient, empathetic, and proactive PRU Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Luton. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, many of whom face complex emotional and behavioural challenges.

Requirements
* A graduate in Criminology, Psychology, or a related field - or someone with equivalent practical experience.
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals, especially those with mental health needs or behavioural challenges.
* Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and emotional intelligence.
* A calm, consistent presence and a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential, even when the path is not straightforward.
* Ability to commute to Luton.
Responsibilities (illustrative)
* Support students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion, helping them engage with learning and manage emotional and behavioural needs.
* Collaborate with educational psychologists, behaviour specialists, and safeguarding professionals to create tailored support.
* Contribute to a trauma-informed, supportive learning environment and document progress as required.
