We are seeking a kind, motivated, and organized Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our team. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, following the New Care specifications. The position is a zero-hour BANK contract at £12.25 per hour, with shifts from 0800 to 1600, covering annual leave and sickness.
Role Responsibilities:
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules and sign necessary paperwork.
• Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper.
• Contribute to the home's housekeeping standards.
• Undertake general cleaning tasks and other duties delegated by the Head Housekeeper.
• Carry out laundry duties when required.
• Ensure the environment is hazard-free and be aware of risks when using equipment.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults the post holder is responsible for or contacts.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Previous non-domestic cleaning experience and care setting experience are beneficial.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write basic comments.
• Effective communication with team members.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
