Would you like to have more influence and oversight of projects and developments at a much earlier stage, lead a team and push your career forward?
This opportunity is to join the leadership team of a development and construction company based in Preston. They’re looking for someone to take control of everything at the Preconstruction phase, overseeing both internal resource and external consultants, making sure the Designs are correct, budgets realistic and planning gets approved efficiently so that you can set up things to hit site as soon as possible. Whilst a continued involvement is required through the construction delivery stage, this role will predominantly focus on preconstruction and ensuring costings, contract and design are compliant and clear prior to handover to the delivery team.
With this in mind, and the fact you’d be joining the leadership team, you do need to have experience of leading already. This is as well as experience both in preconstruction and delivery stages of projects (sector doesn’t matter; you’ll be working across residential, retail, office etc here)
It doesn’t matter what background you’re from, whether it’s Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Engineering or anything similar – as long as you are commutable to Preston and are up for the challenge I’d love to hear from you.
