A market-leading energy storage business based in Surrey is currently recruiting a Lead Test Engineer to join its failure analysis/simulation team on a permanent basis. As their Lead Test Engineer you will play a vital role in assembling and operating test equipment to support product development activities whilst having the ability to continuously improve diagnostic methodologies.
1. Assembly instrumentation and operation of test equipment to support product development activities.
2. Develop and perform test programmes per documented procedures.
3. Data analysis and dissemination.
4. Technical report writing and presentation.
5. Application of defined testing procedures with a focus on quality and repeatability
6. Provide continuous feedback to the team to refine and enhance testing and diagnostics protocols.
7. Responsible for the development and maintenance of testing and
8. Testing at test cell unit cell short stack full stack and product levels
9. Generation verification analysis and reporting of test data.
10. Continuous development and improvement of testing and diagnostic methodologies.
11. Degree qualification in an engineering discipline.
12. Proven experience working and testing on fuel cells.
13. Practical Hands-on skills relating to prototyping assembling and testing.
14. Understanding of physical failure methods and approaches to root cause analysis.
15. Able to present findings to senior management for accurate and timely decision-making.
16. Effective communicator; appropriate concise and accurate information in written and verbal formats.
17. Comfortable multi-tasking prioritising activities and planning work effectively to ensure project deadlines are met.
