As a Connect to Work Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting eligible individuals to secure and sustain employment that aligns with their goals and abilities. You’ll manage a caseload, offering tailored, person-centred advice and guidance, while also building strong relationships with local employers to create suitable job opportunities. Key responsibilities include: Supporting individuals into sustainable employment and providing job retention support. Conducting vocational assessments and developing action plans. Engaging with the community to generate referrals and promote the programme. Collaborating with employers to identify and negotiate appropriate roles. Maintaining accurate records and using digital tools to track progress. This is a ‘work first’ intervention programme, focused on helping people overcome barriers and achieve long-term employment success.
