What you will do
* Manage a diverse caseload ensuring high-quality outcomes for the children and families you support.
* Supervise and guide student social workers, acting as a mentor and educator.
* Work collaboratively with fellow social workers and cross-agency partnerships to deliver comprehensive support.
* Engage in strategic projects and improvement initiatives, adding your voice to shaping future practices.
* Utilise restorative and relational practice techniques, embedding these methods into social work culture.
Responsibilities
* Handle a caseload of complex cases, utilising your initiative and skills to achieve high standards and positive outcomes for children.
* Supervise student social workers as a Practice Educator and provide support through mentoring, coaching, advice, and shadowing during visits or meetings.
* Contribute to the Newham Together Vision, supporting the implementation of strategic plans for Children’s Services, including improvement initiatives.
* Deliver and advocate for a restorative, relational approach to practice and supervision, using systemic tools within the Newham Together Practice Framework.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to meet service plans and priorities.
