Our procurement organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for IT/Technology to join our EMEA IT sourcing team.
In this role, you will collaborate with divisional partners to support their regional IT strategies and enhance vendor performance. You will contribute to category strategies, identify key stakeholder groups, lead sourcing projects, and work with cross-functional teams. As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to divisional colleagues and a strategic resource within procurement.
Responsibilities:
* Manage international, complex sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP).
* Build strong relationships with divisional colleagues, vendors, and industry opinion leaders, understanding their priorities and strategic directions.
* Identify sourcing opportunities through spend analysis and stakeholder engagement, consolidating requirements across categories, suppliers, and geographies.
* Plan, prepare, and execute complex negotiations.
* Drive performance, value, and innovation from key suppliers via Supplier Relationship Management; monitor and mitigate supplier risks.
* Establish an IT portfolio for your lead countries and divisions.
* Collaborate globally and support the corporate sourcing manager.
Qualifications:
* University degree.
* Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in IT/Technology procurement, consulting, project management, or sales within a multinational corporation.
* Knowledge of procurement best practices (category management, RFPs, negotiations, contracting).
Personal Attributes:
* Customer-focused with the ability to understand business needs and influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in strategy and execution.
* Self-motivated with high integrity and ethics.
* Good understanding of commercial agreements and legal terms.
* Strong analytical skills for synthesizing large data sets.
* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German/Dutch/Swedish/Polish is a plus.
