Job Overview
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a category C adult male prison.

HMP Erlestoke functions like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to operate smoothly. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work impacts prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the wider community.
As an Electrician, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in a secure environment.
* Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
* Contribute to planned preventive maintenance operations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Two years' experience as an electrician.
* Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.
* Good knowledge of planned preventive maintenance.
* Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
* Certificate in BS7671 2018 (18th edition).
* Strong health and safety awareness.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
