Responsibilities
* You will play a key part in strengthening our quality culture and supporting both customers and colleagues
* You will be leading quality improvement initiatives that directly enhance customer satisfaction
* Supporting production teams by investigating non‑conformances, identifying root causes, and helping implement practical solutions will be part of your role
* Additionally, you will be working closely with the site management team to improve processes, projects, and day‑to‑day activities
* Ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, including reporting KPIs and analysing data to support investigations will be part of your role
* You will be conducting internal audits, reviewing documentation, and maintaining accurate records
* You will help develop quality standards, corrective actions, and follow‑up plans
* Reviewing customer quality specifications and ensuring they are effectively implemented internally and representing the quality function during customer visits and communicating clearly and confidently will be part of your role
* You will be liaising with suppliers and external service providers to maintain high standards
* Providing training, coaching, and support to shop‑floor teams on quality topics will be part of your role
Qualifications
* You have the right to work in the UK and experience working in a Quality‑focused role
* You have experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment, including internal audit training
* The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings is desired
* Further you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across teams and with customers
* You have good analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem‑solving
* A degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience in a quality‑driven environment is preferred
* You have good project management skills and lead auditor experience
* Experience in aerospace, lean activities, or human factors is desirable
* Familiarity with FMEA and statistical tools such as Minitabis desirable

Salary range: £38,000 - £45,000
