We have been exclusively instructed to seek a highly skilled Risk Analyst at Associate Director level to join a dynamic London-based financial services business that has been at the forefront of supporting investment managers for over a decade. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing a firm's risk management capabilities and contributing to its entrepreneurial growth.

The company specialises in providing regulatory hosting and support services to a wide variety of investment managers across strategies including private equity, hedge funds, UCITS, venture capital, ESG, fintech, and digital assets. With an international client base, including pioneering women-led and technology-driven businesses as well as more traditional firms, the team has developed a strong reputation for excellence and innovation in the investment management space.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
* Assess risk management frameworks, analysing data, reports, and practices in relation to portfolio exposures.
* Implement procedures to prepare the firm for investment and operational risks.
* Develop expertise across asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, REITs, and digital assets.
* Evaluate and advise on strategies including hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital.
* Link regulatory requirements and risk management practices with business objectives.
* Build and manage strong client relationships.
* Monitor performance, including PnL and risk exposure across different strategies.
* Produce reports, analyses, and investment committee minutes, providing recommendations to management.
* Stay up to date with FCA regulations, investment management compliance, and capital requirements.
* Oversee onboarding processes for related parties such as brokers and administrators.
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
• A minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent).
• Risk experience gained within a regulatory hosting business or asset manager is essential.
• Solid understanding of the FCA regulatory landscape.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify issues and develop solutions.
