We have an exciting new opportunity at Easipetcare Kettering for 2 part-time Veterinary Receptionists to join our team.
The Part You'll Play
At our veterinary clinic, we provide comprehensive pet care services. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general information about our services such as our Health Care Plan. You will be the first point of call for our clients, providing support and compassion.
Our ideal candidate
We are looking for a dedicated, professional team member who shows a real passion and positive attitude in every duty they perform. Candidates must have at least 1 year of reception experience, ideally including veterinary reception experience, as the role is fast-paced. The candidate needs to be highly self-motivated with good customer service skills.
Duties:
* Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanour
* Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
* Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
* Collect and update client information in the database
* Medication handling
* Assist with filing and organising paperwork
* Process payments for services rendered
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for working with animals and their owners
* Able to work well within a team and independently
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
* Knowledge of basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
About the rota and salary
This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week covering Thursdays and Fridays, plus rotated Saturdays. You will also be included in the bank holiday rota.
