Our client, a PE-backed professional services business, are seeking a Contractor Payroll expert to join their team, and oversee all day-to-day finance and compliance issues related to contractor management. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee contractor payments, invoice postings in multiple currencies, and handle contractor queries
* Manage and Support two junior members of the team
* conduct cost vs revenue gross profit reconciliation, and accrue costs and revenues as necessary
* Ensure timely contractor payments, process timesheets, and manage contract invoices
* Generate and send sales invoices, chasing outstanding debt and handling queries
* Conduct IR35 umbrella company audits and produce quarterly HMRC Intermediary Reports
* Enhance system automation and mapping between CRM, timesheet, and accounting systems
Requirements
* Min 3 years experience in a finance department
* Proficiency in Sage50, Intime Timesheet system, and Bullhorn CRM
* Excellent communication skills and a team player
* Strong IT literacy and advanced Excel skills
* Attention to detail and a proactive, enthusiastic approach
