Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year Requirements: Chartered Engineer or significant experience of working at equivalent level in major rail infrastructure/construction projects or equivalent Extensive experience of the application of configuration/change management processes in major rail infrastructure/construction projects or equivalent Knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment and statutory obligations relating to major rail infrastructure/construction projects or equivalent Capable of working collaboratively and effectively with project delivery teams, management, and the project leadership, clients, sub-contractors, regulatory bodies, and other major stakeholders High standard of verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences Awareness of the various disciplines involved in delivering major railway projects, their roles, and responsibilities High standard of information management and analytical skills, able to quickly and efficiently seek out the relevant and pertinent points from large volumes of project information Responsibilities: Manage and develop the Change and Configuration Team, enabling them to implement the Change and Configuration Management plans/processes Review and update the Change and Configuration Management plans/processes, ensuring that they are fully implemented across the project Chair and facilitate the running of the Change & Configuration Board to ensure effective review of instructed technical changes for endorsement and implementation Conduct comprehensive assessment of proposed instruction(s) that may lead to changes and manage and assess internal and other (non-client) change requests Ensure all change requests are fully traceable, demonstrating that change has been implemented by the project teams Technologies: More: We are looking for a Systems Engineering Lead (Change & Configuration Lead) to join our team on the High Speed Rail London Tunnels Programme, based at Euston, London, with hybrid working arrangements.
