The Role The school is looking for a qualified Drama Teacher with experience teaching across all key stages, from KS3 to A-Level. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves. You will be responsible for: Delivering high-quality, practical, and theoretical Drama lessons to students of all abilities. Developing and implementing a creative and challenging curriculum that includes devising, scripted work, and theatre history. Directing and producing school plays and performances, showcasing student talent to the wider community. Mentoring students and providing constructive feedback to help them develop their performance skills. Collaborating with other staff to promote the performing arts throughout the school. Candidate Requirements To be considered for this rewarding role, you should have: A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE. Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary school level, including A-Level. A strong understanding of different theatrical styles and practitioners. Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring young people.
