£100 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Wellingborough area who are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day and long-term cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
2. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
3. Ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
4. Supporting pupils with engagement and task completion
5. Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and behaviour
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
7. Be confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour
8. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Be flexible, adaptable, and reliable
10. Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
