Overview
Mental Health Mentor - Specialist School — Windsor, KS1 to KS4 students. ASAP Start — £85-£100 per day. The school serves students who have experienced trauma, have SEN, behavioural disorders, or other mental health issues.
Responsibilities
* Mentor, teach and support young people who are struggling to access education.
* Work 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour.
* Collaborate with fully trained therapists, psychologists and other professionals within the education/mental health field.
* Promote young people\'s mental health and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
* Graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal; some previous experience working with SEN children desirable.
* Experience with challenging behaviour and a background in youth work, mental health, or SEN in sport is relevant.
* Degrees of particular interest include Psychology and Criminology.
* Confident, dedicated and enthusiastic about contributing to a child\'s education.
* Excellent behaviour management skills; restraint training desirable.
