Job Role: Design & Production Engineer
Location: Daventry
Salary: 37,000 per annum
Metalis are currently working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a Design & Production Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
* Generate and develop CAD concepts using CATIA V5
* Create detailed CAD models and drawings
* Finalise design for production release
* Develop and validate process flow, PFMEA, control plans and SOPs
* Resolve design and process issues promptly
* Present design proposals and solutions in review meetings
* Review first off parts with the quality team
* Implement design or process adjustments as required
* Heading up continuous improvements activities
Qualifications
* Degree or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering (or equivalent)
* Skilled in CATIA V5
* Knowledge of GD&T
* Experience using quality management systems
* Familiar with APQP, PFMEA, control plans and lean manufacturing methods
* Automotive experience (preferred)
Salary & Shift
* 37,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
