About the Role
Provide specialist speech and language therapy (SALT) for children aged 3–18 years attending the school.
Location: Hampshire

Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions with pupils.
Run group interventions for social communication skills.
Manage a specialist clinical caseload autonomously.
Carry out assessments using standardised and informal tools.
Interpret assessment results and write detailed clinical reports.
Develop individual therapy plans and goals.
Use varied therapy techniques and graded activities.
Ensure treatment supports each child’s maximum potential.
Maintain high-quality clinical records.
Deliver a safe and effective therapy service.
Participate in service development and quality monitoring.
Work closely with: Teachers, Families, Multidisciplinary professionals.
Communicate effectively to support child safety and risk management.
Qualifications
Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
Required Skills
Experience working with children aged 3–18 years.
Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, and speech and language delays/disorders.
Preferred Skills
Ability to work holistically with families and a multidisciplinary team.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £38,500 – £47,000 per year (Full-time equivalent)
Hours: Term time only, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week. Part-time may be considered.
