Town Planner
Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside this growing Planning and Architectural Practice in their search for an experienced Town Planner.
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Responsibilities
* First point of contact for clients requiring planning advice
* Provide expert advice on a wide variety of planning and development proposals
* Keep up-to-date knowledge of listed building/conservation area applications
* Undertake desktop assessments and carry out site visits
* Prepare Design and Access Statements, Planning Statements and Appeal Statements
* Negotiate planning conditions, S106 agreements and enforcement issues with Local Authorities
Qualifications and Experience
* Be a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, or be working towards this
* Previous UK planning experience, either within a consultancy or local authority environment
* Be able to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and managing client expectations
* Be proficient with all planning tools including Local Authority Planning Websites and interactive Planning Maps
