About The Role
Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2‑Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable, low‑carbon electricity. The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke. We are more than just an alliance; we are bringing together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major, complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.
What you’ll be doing
The Senior People Partner, embedded within the Site, Services & Logistics (SS&L) section, will be responsible for HR operations including forecasting, recruitment, onboarding and compliance. The role relies upon a strategic approach to develop the workforce it oversees while critically supporting the People Support Lead.
Who we’re looking for
Essential
* Ability to work collaboratively with other teams
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Ability to organise, multi‑task and prioritise
* Experience of office working
* Excellent organisational skills
* Administration experience
* Experience of using Office 365
* Extensive experience of working in a Human Resources/People Support role
Desirable
* Obtainment of CIPD Level 5 (or above)
* Experience in working within a major project
* Experience in working within construction
