You will be involved in the Council's Modern Apprenticeship Scheme based in the Registrars department at the City Chambers and be supervised to undertake the following tasks:\nAssist with the registration of Births, deaths and Marriages\nAssist with conducting civil and citizenship ceremonies\n\nYou will also be involved in the following tasks\n\nProduction and handling of documents\nFollowing processes and procedures\nMaintaining efficient Electronic and Manual Filing systems\nProviding a service to customers.\nUsing ICT to complete tasks\nContributing to apprentice forums and participate in case-studies\nOther duties as required You will be working full time whilst also working towards completing a Level 6 SVQ in Business and Administration. You will be supported throughout and will have lots of opportunities to learn from others.\nProfessional communication with clients, team members and external agencies.\nWorking with others to provide a high quality customer service to maintain and build on the company's reputation.\nFollowing procedures to ensure regulations are adhered to.\n\n\n A good standard of education: National 4 or 5s or equivalent.\nAll applicants must have left secondary education in the past three years or have a declared disability and/or are care experience in which case they can be up to the age of 29\nDemonstrate an interest and enthusiasm in working in an office environment/business administration.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nFamiliarity with office IT systems/software.
