Junior Commercial Finance Broker
The Junior Commercial Finance Broker will support the brokerage team in sourcing and arranging finance solutions for business clients. This entry-level role provides training and development in commercial lending, with a focus on learning how to assess client needs, prepare finance applications, liaise with lenders, and deliver excellent client service.
Base salary £25k-£26k p/year with uncapped performance related bonus/commission.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist senior brokers in managing client cases from enquiry through to completion.
* Gather financial information and documentation from clients.
* Support in preparing finance proposals and applications for lenders.
* Research lenders, products, and funding solutions under supervision.
* Maintain accurate client records and case management systems.
* Liaise with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress of applications.
* Provide administrative support including data entry, compliance checks, and report preparation.
* Build knowledge of commercial finance products (asset finance, invoice finance, commercial mortgages, bridging loans, development finance, unsecured business loans, etc.).
* Attend networking events and training to develop professional knowledge and client relationships.
* Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations, data protection, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in finance, banking, or sales support is desirable.
* A-levels, degree, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
* CeMAP or other finance-related qualifications.
* Strong desire to build a career in commercial finance.
