Customer Service Advisor – Full-Time Opportunity
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisor – Full-Time Opportunity roles based in Uddingston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established logistics organisation, ideal for someone with strong communication skills who thrives in a busy, fast-paced customer service environment.
Shifts • Monday to Friday (8:00AM – 6:00PM or 9:30AM – 6:00PM)
Location • Uddingston
Rates of Pay • £12.62 per hour
Start Date • Immediate starts available

Day-to-Day Duties • Handling incoming queries via telephone and email • Providing accurate information regarding deliveries, collections, and service updates • Liaising with transport, warehouse, and planning teams to resolve customer issues • Logging all interactions accurately on internal systems • Investigating delivery discrepancies and complaints • Supporting general administrative tasks as required • Maintaining excellent service levels at all times
Essential Skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Previous customer service experience (office, call centre, retail, or logistics) • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively • Professional, proactive, and positive attitude • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
Desirable Experience • Experience in transport or logistics customer service • Background in call handling or fast-paced office environments • Knowledge of delivery processes or POD systems (training provided)
Training Provided • Full training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
