We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sefton. This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for an experienced TA who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.You will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support to children who may need additional help
* Assisting with classroom management and preparation of learning materials
* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values
* Contributing to the wider life of the school as needed
About You
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school is essential.
* Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificates are desirable.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
