CDM Consultant
An established and highly respected Health & Safety consultancy is currently seeking a capable and commercially minded CDM Consultant to join their growing team based in Altrincham. Operating since 2005, this business has built a strong reputation for delivering pragmatic, tailored Health & Safety and CDM solutions to clients across the UK and Europe.
Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, they are now looking to appoint a CDM Consultant who enjoys working closely with clients and providing practical, proportionate advice across a variety of sectors.
The CDM Consultant Role
The successful CDM Consultant will play a key role in supporting clients with their duties under CDM Regulations, working closely with project teams to ensure safe, compliant and well-managed projects. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a broad range of industries and projects, working alongside experienced Health & Safety professionals.
This position would suit a CDM Consultant who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering solutions that genuinely add value, rather than a box-ticking approach.
Duties of the CDM Consultant to include:
· Acting as CDM Advisor and Principal Designer support across a range of projects.
· Supporting clients with compliance under the CDM Regulations.
· Preparing, reviewing and advising on pre-construction information and construction phase plans.
· Undertaking risk assessments and providing practical mitigation strategies.
· Delivering Health & Safety advice that is proportionate and aligned with client operations.
· Working collaboratively with designers, contractors and clients to improve safety outcomes.
· Supporting the delivery of workplace safety training and best practice guidance where required.
The Person?
The successful CDM Consultant will have experience working within Health & Safety and CDM, either from a consultancy or client-facing background. The CDM Consultant will fit the following description…..
