Pay & Hours
Pay: £12.71 per hour. Working week: 30 hours over 5 days (Monday to Sunday).
Flexible working hours may be discussed to accommodate individual needs. Shifts vary with store requirements.
Job Role
As a Shop Supervisor you will work with the team to prepare fresh ingredients and produce sandwiches, baguettes and other foods to company standards, while delivering excellent customer service and selling high quality fresh food. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards with potential for progression.
A supervisor assists the Shop Manager with day-to-day store operations, supervises the team, drives sales, controls costs and helps build a loyal customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers and create an inviting experience
* Receive and check daily deliveries
* Assist with branch stock and produce management
* Maintain shop displays
* Have excellent knowledge and understanding of products
* Prepare food in line with specifications
* Quality control of food and produce
* Maintain high hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards
* Work efficiently within a team
* Cash handling and till operation
* Open or close the shop when required
* Run shifts at various times during the week
* Drive sales and minimise wastage
* Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required
* Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential (full ongoing training provided)

* Ability to work in a fast-paced food retail environment
