We are on an exciting transformational journey to drive significant growth, and to support this, we are seeking a motivated Hosemaker / Trades Assistant to join our Perth team.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with tools and machinery, and thrives in a supportive team environment.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll assemble industrial and hydraulic hoses and components for our valued customers. You’ll use crimpers, pressure testers, and other equipment to meet precise customer specifications. You’ll also be required to support the management of warehousing operations, which include unpacking, packing, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as assisting with general warehouse and trades assistant duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing hoses to industry standards and customer requirements, adhering to established standards and industry guidelines.
Selecting the correct hydraulic hose and hose fittings for each task.
Reading and interpreting specifications, drawings, and hydraulic schematics.
Using measuring devices and crimping machines with precision.
Testing hose assemblies as required.
Picking, packing, and dispatching orders and performing other general warehouse and trades assistant duties as required.
Ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete and preparing products for shipment.
Skills and Attributes:
Ability to use measuring devices such as verniers and protractors.
Capability to read and interpret written instructions effectively.
Proficiency in performing basic maths.
Experience in using database systems for data entry and management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
1+ years of experience in hose assembly or related industries is desirable.
An MR Truck License and/or a Forklift License are preferred but not essential
