You possess a robust commercial aptitude and professional standing, enabling you to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. You are knowledgeable about relevant regulations and standards within the electrical field and have maintained your Continued Professional Development (CPD). With a background in electrical contracting or consultancy, you demonstrate skills and knowledge pertinent to the electrical social housing sector. You are computer literate and adept at producing technical reports. What the Job Involves The Electrical Inspector role includes functions such as conducting surveys of low and high-rise buildings, writing condition and feasibility reports, and performing inspections to document electrical work progress. You will identify and address issues related to electrical services, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and safety standards. Liaising with project managers, project engineers, and stakeholders, youll attend project progress meetings and manage customer relations, occasionally working outside standard hours with time given back in lieu. Youll also handle quality and standards by snagging with the main contractor and perform handovers. This position offers flexible work hours, with a hybrid working model including three office days and two home-working days. Skills City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition 5 years of experience in a similar role Sound knowledge of Electrical Installations Proficient in written and verbal communication Proficient in MS Office Packages (Word/Outlook/Excel) Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Strong commercial aptitude and professional demeanor Excellent stakeholder liaison skills Ability to produce relevant technical reports Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards CPD maintained
