Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive school in Brent is seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their team and provide high quality teaching and support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism spectrum condition, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, and social emotional mental health needs.
Responsibilities
* Designing and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Working collaboratively with SENCO, teaching assistants, and external professionals.
* Supporting the development of social, emotional, and communication skills alongside academic progress.
* Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress in line with EHCP outcomes.
* Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates small steps of success.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEN Teacher or a qualified teacher with a strong interest in SEN and a desire to grow within this field. You will demonstrate patience, resilience, and creativity in your approach to teaching and supporting pupils with complex needs. Essential requirements include:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience of teaching pupils with SEN, either in mainstream or specialist settings.
* Strong understanding of strategies to support learners with autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with families and professionals.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
