Position: Technical Service Supervisor / Manager – Smoke Control Department
Purpose of the Role
The Technical Service Manager will lead the Smoke Control Division, providing technical expertise, supporting customer inquiries, and identifying growth opportunities through strategic engagement and cross-selling. The role involves delivering high-quality projects, managing quotations, and ensuring safety compliance, with a must-have understanding of AOV systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
* Support new inquiries and potential clients with technical guidance.
* Identify and engage new clients, offering tailored solutions.
* Maintain relationships with existing clients to promote cross-selling.
* Research market trends to identify growth opportunities.
1. Enquiry Handling and Quoting
* Manage incoming inquiries related to smoke control systems.
* Conduct site surveys and develop accurate quotations.
* Prepare proposals for remedial works during maintenance.
2. Project Management and Delivery
* Ensure projects meet standards and client expectations.
* Coordinate with teams and subcontractors for timely delivery.
* Monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
3. Compliance and Documentation
* Ensure RAMS are uploaded and correctly assigned.
* Maintain health and safety compliance.
* Oversee quality assurance processes.
4. Client and Stakeholder Communication
* Act as the main contact for smoke control projects.
* Provide technical support throughout project lifecycle.
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders.
5. Reporting and Analysis
* Track performance metrics such as revenue, enquiry conversion, and customer satisfaction.
* Provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.

Working Conditions
* Onboarding and training in-office for the first week, followed by onsite and shadowing activities.
* Hybrid work model: predominantly home-based, with site visits and office presence 2-3 times a month, subject to review.
