We are looking for a confident, organised and creative PR & Communications Executive to join our growing Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling, brand building and media relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving PR coverage, creating engaging written content across Kiddies Kingdom and Own Label brands supporting both B2C and B2B communications.
Working closely with the key teams, you will help elevate the Kiddies Kingdom brand profile as well as our own brands across consumer media, trade press and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Write and distribute engaging press releases to consumer and trade media.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors and industry contacts.
* Proactively pitch stories, product launches and brand announcements.
* Coordinate product samples, press loans and media requests.
* Monitor and track media coverage across online and print publications.
* Manage the PR calendar aligned with product launches and key retail periods.
* Identify relevant industry and retail awards and write compelling award submissions.
* Coordinate assets, case studies and supporting materials for award entries.
* Write SEO-friendly blog articles, landing pages and website copy.
* Support brand storytelling across digital channels.
* Draft B2B trade announcements, retailer communications and supplier messaging.
* Support launch communications for new brand partnerships.
* Manage and grow the LinkedIn across our retail brand & Own Label brands including company page content, thought leadership and corporate messaging aligned to business objectives.
* Produce monthly PR coverage reports including engagement, reach and share of voice.
* Track campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Person Specification / Skills
* 2+ years experience in PR, Communications or Marketing in Agency or a company.
* Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* Experience writing press releases and pitching to media.
* Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C communications.
* Experience managing LinkedIn for brand or corporate accounts.
* Understanding of SEO principles and digital content best practice.
* Highly organised with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally.
* Proficient in Google Suite.
* Analytical and commercial mindset with reporting experience.
* Proactive, self-motivated and eager to grow within the business.
* Experience within baby, nursery, retail, parenting or FMCG sectors advantageous.
Hours & Holidays
Mon – Fri (9am – 5:30pm) 37.5 Hours (1 Hour Lunch)
20 + 8 Bank Holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
