Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sign Fitter located in the Belfast Metropolitan Area. The Sign Fitter will be responsible for the installation and fitting of various types of signs, both indoor and outdoor. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and measuring surfaces, installing signage, ensuring the signage is secure and meets safety standards, and performing maintenance and repairs on existing signs. The role also involves occasional travel to different work sites and collaboration with a team to achieve high-quality results.
Qualifications
* Sign installation and fitting experience
* Knowledge of safety standards and practices in sign installation
* Ability to read and interpret design plans and blueprints
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good physical condition and ability to work at heights
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Valid driver's license
* Flexibility to work outside standard working hours when necessary
* Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
