Glu Recruit are seeking an experienced, career-long paraplanner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pensions and retirement planning, with a focus on helping individuals achieve a comfortable lifestyle in retirement.
Main responsibilities:
Conduct thorough financial research and analysis using tools such as Selectapension and FE AnalyticsPrepare comprehensive financial reports using Genovo report writing softwareReview and verify information provided by admin staff for accuracy and completenessLiaise with admin team to gather missing information and assist with business submissions when necessaryUtilize Intelliflo back office system for client management and record-keepingAnalyse and provide recommendations for various investment vehicles, including ISAs and general investment accountsChallenge advisers on file notes or recommendation proposals that appear unsuitableCommunicate with the compliance team regarding any concerns about advice suitabilityRequired Skills and Experience:
Proven track record as a paraplanner in the financial services industry, with a focus on pensions and retirement planningExtensive knowledge of UK pension regulations and productsProficiency in using Intelliflo, Selectapension, FE Analytics, and Genovo softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAttention to detail and ability to work independentlyUnderstanding of compliance requirements in financial servicesDesirable Qualifications:
Relevant financial planning qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) – how experience is preferred and will pay for examination material and initial exams.
