Overview
Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP - Clinical). The role provides evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions to patients with low mood and anxiety through a variety of delivery methods. You will work with a team of senior PWPs and the PWP Lead to deliver case management and clinical skills supervision across localities, monitor clinical activity and productivity at step 2, and contribute to service development initiatives. The service offers supervision, development opportunities, and a focus on wellbeing and progression.
Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based, high-volume, low-intensity psychological assessments and treatments via telephone, online, face-to-face, or group interventions.
* Provide case management and clinical skills supervision to PWPs.
* Provide supervision of supervision to other PWP supervisors.
* Lead on groups and webinar provision and oversee community and outreach initiatives at step 2.
* Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to implement new service developments and initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
* PWP Post Graduate Qualification (training must be completed in an adult IAPT service).
* Psychology or other health-related undergraduate degree.
* LI CBT Supervisor Training.
Desirable Qualifications
* Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, or within a psychological therapy context.
* Psychology or other health-related postgraduate degree.
Experience
* Essential: Post-qualification experience in an adult IAPT service.
* Significant experience of working in an adult IAPT service with people who have mental health problems.
* Ability to demonstrate a range of post-qualifying experiences delivering evidence-based IAPT low-intensity interventions.
* Experience of providing Case Management Supervision to PWPs and Clinical Skills Supervision to PWPs.
* Desirable: Experience with Long Term Conditions and Medically Unexplained Symptoms in LI CBT Training; training delivery to professionals; line management experience.
Additional Criteria
* Evidence of a good standard of literacy / English language skills.
* Access to a private car and ability to travel across the county to attend meetings or designated venues to provide treatment or run courses.
Compliance
* Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks will be undertaken as part of the role.
* UK professional registration required.
