RE Teacher – Sutton – January 2026 Start (Maternity Cover, Fixed Term 12 Months)
We are seeking a committed RE Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school community in Sutton from 1st January 2026. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for 12 months, offering MPS/UPS (Outer London) salary depending on experience.
The successful RE Teacher will be responsible for delivering Religious Education across the full age and ability range. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential. A strong focus on assessment, marking, and maintaining accurate student records is essential, as is contributing to the wider school life and ethos.
This RE Teacher position is ideal for someone who is passionate about their subject, is a confident classroom practitioner, and is keen to make a meaningful impact on student learning. You will also take on form tutor responsibilities, helping to support both the academic and pastoral development of your form group.
