Day-to-day of the role:
* Act as the primary adviser and main point of contact for your client portfolio.
* Oversee and deliver comprehensive services including accounts, corporation tax, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping.
* Provide proactive advice on financial performance and tax efficiency, helping clients interpret their numbers to drive business decisions.
* Ensure all compliance requirements and deadlines are consistently met, maintaining high professional standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification) preferred.
* Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a UK practice, managing or assisting with a client portfolio.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in cloud platforms like Xero or QuickBooks.
* Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused approach and a knack for building trusted relationships.
