Chief Marketing Officer

Position Summary
As CMO, you will beresponsible for developing and leading the company’s global marketingstrategy, building a high-performing team, and ensuring marketingplays a central role in the company’s commercial success. Your focuswill include driving new customer acquisition, expanding the value ofthe existing client base, and elevating the company’s brand in acompetitive, data-driven market.
Reporting directly to the CEOand sitting on the executive leadership team, this role requires ahands-on, strategic leader who can influence across all levels of thebusiness. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, sales, finance,and operations to drive alignment and results.
Candidate Profile
The idealcandidate is a commercially minded marketing executive with deepexperience in B2B technology, preferably within financial services,fraud prevention, financial crime, or adjacent sectors such as risk,identity verification, or cybersecurity. You bring a provenability to scale marketing functions, develop demand generationprogrammes, and position complex technology products in regulated andcompetitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Global Marketing Strategy: Own andevolve the company’s marketing strategy, aligning with growthobjectives across retention and new business.
* DemandGeneration: Lead multi-channel lead generation strategies thatdeliver consistent, high-quality pipeline growth in support of salesgoals.
* Product & Portfolio Marketing: Partner withproduct and commercial teams to deliver content and collateral thatenable sales and support go-to-market efforts.
* Brand &Communications: Oversee the company’s external messaging, PR, andbrand identity to ensure consistency, clarity, and market relevance.
* Marketing Operations: Define and track performanceKPIs, manage the marketing budget, and ensure marketing programmes arescalable and efficient.
* Team Leadership: Build,mentor, and retain a high-performing marketing team, fostering aculture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategicpartner across the business, particularly with sales, product, andcustomer success, to ensure integrated execution.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degreein Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degreepreferred).
* 12+ years of senior marketing leadershipexperience in a B2B tech environment, ideally within fraudprevention, financial crime, fintech, or adjacent regulated markets.
* Proven success in leading demand generation programmesthat drive measurable revenue growth and strong ROI.
* Deepexperience positioning technical products in complex,multi-stakeholder sales environments .
* Demonstratedsuccess building and scaling marketing functions, especially inhigh-growth or PE-backed businesses .
* Strongleadership credentials with a track record of hiring, managing, anddeveloping high-impact marketing teams.
* Ability to thinkstrategically while executing tactically — a hands-on operator whobalances vision with delivery.
