Business Development Manager - Trailers

We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run engineering business that leads the way in specialist trailer solutions for the transport and logistics sectors. The Role As Business Development Manager, you’ll be the key commercial contact for both new and existing customers, offering technical and consultative sales support. You'll work closely with engineering and commercial colleagues to tailor the right solution for every customer, whether they’re replacing a fleet or buying a one-off specialist trailer.
While the company is based in the South Midlands, they’re open to candidates who live further afield. Hybrid working is available, and travel to customer sites will be a key part of the role.

A tech-savvy, commercially sharp BDM who knows how to open doors and build long-term relationships A consultative sales approach – this isn’t about shifting volume, it’s about solving customer problems Ideally from an engineering, technical sales or capital equipment background Confidence in working across varied customer groups – from owner-operators to national fleet buyers A self-starter who enjoys autonomy, backed up by a highly experienced support team
