Overview
We are recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. You will be responsible for the service, repair and maintenance work for our customers' vehicles, readying them for the road ahead. You will work with a variety of manufacturers and a diverse range of vehicles and models, taking ownership of your customers and completing jobs to the highest standard. The company emphasises EV training and offers in-house and manufacturer training to support your development in EV Technology.
You will be working in an industry-leading workshop with state-of-the-art facilities, with full support and development to help you reach your full potential.
Responsibilities
* Service, repair and maintenance work for customer vehicles, readying them for the road ahead.
* Representing a variety of manufacturers and carrying out work on a diverse range of vehicles and models.
* Complete service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
* Diagnose and provide diagnostic reports on customer vehicles.
* Complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports, in accordance with manufacture, warranty and dealer requirements.
* Check the level and quality of work after completion using diagnostic equipment and road testing.
About You
* Experience in the Automotive sector in a technical role.
* Minimum Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential; full training provided.
* MOT Licence beneficial but not essential.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Passion for the work and ability to apply yourself in a rewarding environment.
