SEO / GEO Specialist (eCommerce)
Location: Peterborough (fully onsite, 5 days per week)
Contract: 12-month contract (strong likelihood of extension)
Rate: Up to £35.91 per hour
Start: February 2026
About the role
We're looking for an SEO / GEO Specialist to take ownership of organic search performance for a large international eCommerce storefront.
This role is focused on driving high-quality organic traffic and revenue through technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and emerging AI / Generative Search (GEO) techniques. You'll work closely with Product, Marketing and Development teams to improve how our products and categories perform in both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
This is a hands-on role in a small, collaborative team where you'll have real ownership and visibility of your work.
What you'll be doing
1. Owning the SEO roadmap for an international eCommerce website
2. Running technical SEO audits and leading fixes (indexing, crawlability, canonicals, site structure, mobile and speed)
3. Optimising product and category pages (titles, meta data, headings, internal links, schema)
4. Using GA4 and Google Search Console to identify opportunities and measure impact
