Our client is looking for several experienced FLT Drivers who are seeking a great opportunity
The perfect candidate for a Reach Truck Driver will have experience working within a warehouse environment, who are looking to build an ongoing career with a reputable company for the foreseeable future, training is provided from day 1 to ensure you can integrate into the environment. We do accept Reach Truck Driver that previous in-house certificates as an assessment will be required.

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)
EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES REQUIRED
Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated location
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
Ensure the application of the business “key standards” are maintained
Ensure productivity targets are met
Assist with stock counts and movements
Assist as required within all operational work areas
Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times to comply with Company
Policy and Health & Safety Regulations
General Housekeeping including sweeping/cleaning up the warehouse
Promote excellent working standards complying with the company BRCGS guidelines
Undertake any other tasks as directed by a member of the management team.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a FLT, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting - you will be required to be assessed
Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance
Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
Basic understanding of Maths and English
Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative working in a busy environment
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team to deliver results
