About the Opportunity\n\nProspero Teaching is looking for a SEN Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people that are not attending school.\n\nAs a SEN Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.\n\nMost of these pupils will have been out of education for some time, so their confidence levels may be very low. It is your responsibility to reengage them in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.\n\nProspero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
\n\nContract/Position details\n\nLocation - Various locations across Uxbridge\nPosition - SEN Tutor\nType of work - Contract\nStart date - ASAP\nDuration / Likely Duration - dependent on each student\nEnd date (if applicable) - N/A\nContract type - Temporary\nFull time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability\nMinimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour\nHours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session \n\nExperience, Training and qualifications\n\nQTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent\n6 months+ experience working in a UK school\nUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) \n\nTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:\n\nHold Right to Work in the UK\nHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application\nProvide two professional child related references that cover the last two years \n\nOther\n\nIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
