SEMH TA | Wigan area | Full-time We have a fantastic SEMH Secondary school in the WN2 area who are looking for a permanent member of staff to join their team from 20th April. The school is a small Secondary setting who support children with a range of SEMH and behavioural needs. The class sizes are roughly 4 children per class and they are accessing Key stage 2 and Lower Key stage 3 curriculum. The school are looking for a compassionate and understanding teaching assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. What the school need: • A Teaching assistant with experience supporting SEMH and challenging behaviour • Preferably, candidates will have experience in an SEMH, PRU or Alternative provision setting • Full-time availability • Enthusiastic and bubbly personality to engage with the children • Able to reliably commute to the WN2 area • Working hours of Mon- Thur 8:30am - 3:30pm Fri 8:30am -2pm What they can offer: • Daily rate of £95 per day before handing over on to a permanent contract • A supportive working environment • Competitive salary once on a permanent contract in September • Extensive opportunities for CPD If you’re ready to support children in the WN2 area to reach their full potential – apply today!
