IT Support Engineer | Provisioning Engineer | 1st Line Support Engineer
Workplace IT is the UK's leading provider of Managed IT Services to the Social Care, Supported Living, Social Impact Charities and Special Needs Education Sectors.
We predominantly support enterprise level Commercial, NFP (Not For Profit) and Public Sector owned organisations with multiple locations and employees across the UK.
Following continued growth based around our King's Lynn office we are looking for an additional Provisioning Engineer.
Position Overview:
As an IT Provisioning Engineer you will be responsible for Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Active Directory) based change management requests including new starters, leavers and changes, Device Builds, Device Re-Purposing, Repairs and Microsoft Intune profile builds and changes.
This is an excellent role for candidates looking to enhance their early IT Career. Its an extremely busy role where you will be working in collaboration with your UK colleagues supported by a provisioning coordinator who will allocate and schedule your workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Create / Change / De-Commission User accounts in Microsoft 365 Admin.
Connect / Disconnect Users from Azure AD.
Add Users to the correct Intune / SOTI Profile.
Create user accounts for third party applications (normally Care and HR based).
Build / Re-Purpose Devices (PC, Laptop, Tablet, Mobile, Kiosks).
Build / Re-Purpose VOIP Based telephone systems and mobile devices.
Keep your project ticket updated with information and progress.
Update the in-house documentation system with user settings and credentials.
Keep the Provisioning Coordinator updated with your work / project status.
Skills & Experiences Required:
Proven IT Diagnostic and Repair Skills.
Microsoft 365 Business / Office Administration Experience.
Microsoft Azure AD Experience (Nice to have but will train).
Microsoft Intune or Similar (SOTI) Experience (Nice to have but will train).
Experience in building / Repurposing Windows 10 / Windows 11 Pro Devices.
Trend Micro XDR / Microsoft MFA / DUO 2FA Experience (Nice to have but will train).
Draytek Vigor Router and Draytek ACS Experience (Nice to have but will train).
Ubiquity WIFI / Unifi and Unifi Portal Experience (Nice to have but will train).
Excellent telephone manor as you will be talking to clients on the telephone.
Experience using a PSA / RMM / Documentation System (Nice to have but will train).
What We Offer:
Basic Salary £25,000 to £30,000 DOE (Depending on Experience).
9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Working Location:
You will officially be office based from our King's Lynn office.
However we operate a hybrid office / home working after training.
You will be required to be in the office for device builds.
You will be required to be in the office for client visits and other office duties.
You should therefore have a permanent residence within a 90 minute commute of our King's Lynn office.
You must have a dedicated, private and quiet space for home working.
