As a nursery early years practitioner, you will play a vital role to the key children under your care.

Not only will you be the first point of contact for them and their parents, you will also be the main games maker, hug giver, singing partner and toilet buddy.

The children will look to you for guidance and reassurance as they learn every day. You may not be the greatest singer, but the children will not care, they will still sing along with you at the top of their voices. You will be required to go on magical explorations with them as they create fantasy worlds in our garden and beautiful rooms.

All of these adventures will be documented and given as feedback to the parents. You will do this whilst also taking on the next qualifications to help you develop your early years career. You will have the full support of the room leader and managers; remember they have been through this process themselves and can show you a million and one ways of answering the most common question you will face all day…WHY?

Why join us?

  • Well getting to our nursery is easy as we have excellent local transport links, parking is also available nearby.

  • We have had some recent renovations inside and out, so our nursery is all shiny and new.

  • You will receive a great salary, lots of company benefits and the chance to gain additional qualifications.

  • Last but definitely not least you will have the chance to attend our glamorous annual staff awards night.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Following the EYFS curriculum and delivering to the highest possible standards.

  • Creating a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their children.

  • Ensure your key children are encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

  • Ensuring all safeguarding policies are adhered to at all times and any breaches of this are reported to the designated safeguarding lead immediately.

  • Providing detailed reports on your key children to managers and parents

To be eligible you must hold a level 2 Early Years qualification. You must be able to work full time and be adaptable in your start and finish times.

A full job description can be given upon request. You will need to complete an enhanced DBS certificate and receive 2 satisfactory reference requests upon an offer of employment being made.
