Machine Operative (Brake Press Setter Operator)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Brake Press Setter Operator to join our well-established client based in Leicester, East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts: Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 16:30, and Friday – 08:00 to 15:30 (early finish)

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Brake Press Setter Operator, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Setting and operating CNC press brake machines
* Operating press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications
* Performing fabrication tasks including grinding, welding, and assembly of components
* Identifying and resolving faults during set-up in line with order requirements
* Carrying out first-off inspections and ensuring quality throughout production
* Adjusting machine settings and tooling to achieve accurate folds and dimensions
* Working to meet production targets and deadlines
* Maintaining equipment, reporting faults, and ensuring safe working practices
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Brake Press Setter Operator, you will need:
* Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes
* Quality control expertise
* Proficiency in using hand tools
* Strong communication skills
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
Training Provided:
Full training will be provided on-site, with continued development opportunities.
