Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Team Leader to oversee the care and support of children in a residential setting. This role involves leading a team of caregivers, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met through effective care plans and positive interactions. Duties
* Lead and supervise a team of childcare staff, providing guidance and support in daily activities.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, maintaining a secure environment.
* Facilitate effective communication between staff, children, and external stakeholders to promote collaborative care.
* Engage with children through various activities that encourage personal development and social skills.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each child's progress and any incidents that occur.
* Assist with transportation needs as required, including driving children to appointments or activities.
Skills
* Proven experience working with children in a residential or childcare setting is essential.
* Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence for transporting children as needed.
* Knowledge of creating and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual children's needs.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, families, and team members.
* Proficiency in IT to manage documentation and maintain records efficiently.
* A compassionate approach with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families. Pay: £37,050.00-£38,025.00 per year
